Vineyard Site
Ried Seeberg, located north of Langenlois, is a south- to southwest-facing terraced site at 220–300 meters elevation. The topsoil consists of calcareous-free rocky brown earths, underlain by silvery mica schist and amphibolite, which lend the wines their characteristic minerality and fine structure. The name Seeberg, historically recorded as “See Berg,” refers to a hill with a small pond; originally, the vineyards were concentrated along the ridge and in the eastern part of the site.

Wine Description

Pale yellow-green with delicate silver reflections. The nose reveals subtle aromas of white peach, light stone fruit and fresh lime zest, accompanied by gentle herbal notes. Juicy and clearly structured on the palate, with fine fruit sweetness, lively acidity and a precise mineral core. The elegant finish combines bright fruit with a subtle saline edge.

Food Pairing

An ideal companion to Asian and Indian cuisine. It pairs particularly well with aromatic curries, sweet-and-sour dishes and spicy wok preparations. It is equally versatile with light Asian starters, crispy vegetables, fresh herbs and delicate fish dishes with lime.
