Wine Description
The colour is medium golden. Youthful and quiet on the nose reminiscent of continental fruits such as apples and pears with some lemons accompanying the two. A bit spicy in the way of cinnamon as well.
Dry on the palate with lighter body and good amount of acidity showing the origin. The character on the palate reveals even more than nose did. With a very pleasant taste and nice, surprisingly long finish. A very good classical Welschriesling from Štajerska.
Winery
WINEMAKING TRADITION SINCE 1139: At the Dveri-Pax winery in northeastern Slovenia, we are continuing the 800-year-old winemaking tradition of the Admont Benedictine monks - with great respect for nature and a keen sense for trends. Our vineyards cover 73 hectares, and the vintners work with a great respect for nature and tradition as well as a keen sense of trends.
